Attorney Crossin, the founding member, who also holds an M.S. in Accountancy and is a Certified Estate Advisor™ through the National Association of Financial and Estate Planners, teaches Corporate Governance and Business Law courses at Purdue University’s satellite campus in Hammond, Indiana. Additionally, Attorney Crossin is involved at the board level of the Northwest Indiana Association of Fraud Examiners and works closely with certified fraud examiners many of whom are retired IRS agents or practicing forensic accountants. Corporate Governance and Fraud Detection/Deterrence are two key issues that many businesses – public, private, or not-for-profit should be addressing. Attorney Crossin is a current member of the Association of Fraud Examiners and is working toward becoming a Certified Fraud Examiner. Attorney Crossin has worked rather extensively with not-for-profits, as well as served on the board of directors for several organizations. Additionally, Attorney Crossin is involved with Kid's Alive International, and is an acting member of their Board of Directors - check out this wonderful organization at www.kidsalive.org.
