http://www.in.gov/fssa – The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration acts as the safety net for nearly a million Hoosiers – about one in every six people in the state. FSSA works with Indiana's families, children, senior citizens, people with disabilities and people with mental illness, providing services to promote self-sufficiency, independence, prevention, health and safety.

http://www.cms.hhs.gov – The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) admisnisters the Medicare program and works in partnership with the States to administer Medicaid, the States Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), and health insurance portability standards.

http://www.kff.org/medicaidtimeline – Excellent website that provides an interactive timeline conveying information about policy developments over the course of the last 40 years of the Medicaid program. This site is updated with new developments as they occur. This website is maintained by t he Kaiser Family Foundation, which encourages non-profit organizations, government agencies, academic institutions, and other organizations to link to its online information.

The documentaries examine the social needs that led policymakers to create these programs, the expectations of what they would achieve and the reality of these programs today. Key policymakers, staff officials and members of Congress involved in the creation and implementation of Medicare and Medicaid are interviewed.
